Hanqin Lin.

Hanqin Lin is the founder of Vanishing Point Entertainment and a filmmaker with extensive experience across film, television, digital content, and vertical drama production. He graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where he studied film production and became the first Chinese undergraduate student admitted to the school’s directing program. During his time at Chapman, he studied under Academy Award-winning director John Badham, and his student short film was selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.

After graduating, Hanqin worked with major Chinese streaming platforms including Tencent Video, iQIYI, and Sohu Video, producing platform-commissioned web series and online feature films. Several of his projects ranked on leading Chinese web-content charts and achieved millions of views, giving him deep experience in commercial storytelling, digital distribution, and audience-driven content development.

Since the rise of overseas vertical dramas in 2023, Hanqin has focused on high-quality vertical short-form production in the U.S. market. Under his leadership, Vanishing Point Entertainment has become one of the most active and recognized vertical drama production companies in Los Angeles, known for combining cinematic production standards with market-aware, mobile-first storytelling. He now leads VPEnt’s expansion into AI-native content, applying years of live-action production experience and U.S. market insight to the development of scalable AIGC vertical dramas and visual IP.

林汉秦毕业于美国查普曼大学道奇电影学院电影制作专业，为该校本科导演系在中国招收的第一名留学生，师从奥斯卡获奖导演John Badham。其在校期间创作的微电影曾经入围法国戛纳电影节短片角单元。林汉秦毕业后多次与腾讯视频、爱奇艺、搜狐视频等视频平台合作，制作平台定制剧与网络大电影，其创作的网剧网大曾多次上榜骨朵排行榜热播剧名单，获得过超过千万的点击量。自2023年出海竖屏短剧兴起以来，林汉秦敏锐捕捉行业风口，专注于高品质竖屏短剧出品。其成立的视点娱乐公司，凭借扎实的专业背景与成熟的制作流程，在短时间内迅速脱颖而出，已成为洛杉矶地区广受认可的竖屏短剧承制方之一。
